How many best friends do you have?
Are these friends men, women or both?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I have two.
*My best girl friend has been my friend since we were 2 years old - almost 50 years now. She is DD19’s Godmother.
*My best guy friend has been my friend since we were 16 years old - for 35 years now. He is DD24’s Godfather.

I do have a number of best friends, but time and distance means I have little communication with these days. I am in my 60s as are my friends and while we do use social apps, that is not our preferred method of communication.

I have one friend who I consider my BFF. She and I have been friends since our kids were very young so over 30 years. We don't get together much but we still call every week

I have many other friends; my people at the hospital; my people at the casino and of course my DIS people.

I have 4 people I would consider BFFs... 3 are friends from college - they went to university with my husband and we've become incredibly close. 2 are guys, 1 is a girl. They were all in our wedding and one is the godfather of our son. We all live within 10 miles of each other by some wild chance of fate!

The other is a girl from high school that I met in 10th grade. She lives in MA and I'm in FL so I don't see her often but we text. :)

I have 3 girlfriends I would call best friends. I could call them anytime and they would be there for me.
One I’ve known since I was little, another high school and the third college.
We all live in the city and see each other often plus text constantly,

I have several really good friends, but no one that I would call my "best friend" anymore. I had a best friend from age 11-28ish, but then we both got married and moved away from our hometowns and our friendship fizzled.

I’m blessed to have a large circle of very close friends. I know they would do just about anything for me and my kids, and they know I would do the same. It’s not something I ever really actually need, but it is a comfort.

I have two, women, who were my best friends in high school (and I won't say how long ago that was) and are still my best friends. The good thing about close friends is even if you don't see each other for long periods, you know they will be there in a heartbeat if you need them.

I have a pretty good friend - man - who while isn't what I'd consider a best friend I know we can call and he would do whatever he could to help us.

I have different “best friends” in different contexts. Two ladies in particular that are not connected to each other and three others that consider ourselves a “group” of best friends. All my close friends are women.

Wow! That’s great, slo!

I met my best friend who is not related to me in Kindergarten, and we were 5, we are now 76. We have not lived near each other for at least 40 years now, but we have never been estranged or out of touch! My other best friend is my sister. She has a second home near our house, we see each other fairly often.

I would consider one guy my best friend. We met in college, he was my roommate after college for a few years before I got married. He was my best man in my wedding and my boys consider him like an uncle. Unfortunately, he lives a couple hours away, so I only get the chance to see him once or twice a year or so.

My BFF and I met 30 years ago when she was in the Air Force and I was dating a guy who lived in her dorm. Kicked him to the curb and kept her. She's in FL now and I'm in VA, but she's still my go-to and we'd move heaven and earth for each other.

I met my BFF 44 years ago when we were freshmen in HS. She has moved away and we still keep in touch and pick up exactly where we left off. I love her like she was my sister.

My DH is my other BFF. We've been together for 33 years, married for 29.

I'm lucky to have both of them in my life.
