All the bedrooms and the family room have one. Rarely run the one in the family room. The bedroom is run most nights from mid-Spring to early Fall on low. Depends on the weather. One of the bedroom is used as tv room and that fan is sometimes run if one of us is in the room.

My ceiling fan rattles, so no I don't use it when I'm sleeping. I prefer the white noise of my pedestal fan, which runs all year 'round. I can't sleep in a completely quiet room.

We have the ceiling fan on except for the 8 weeks of winter we get. We are in AZ though. Ceiling fans in every room make life tolerable. Lol.

Ceiling fan is always on and running in our room. I will occasionally turn it off in the daytime if I’m cold, but it’ll go on again before bed. Both of us have to sleep cold.

We don't have an AC so when it's hot/warm, the ceiling fan is running. There's one in our bedroom and it runs frequently just because kiddo and I are always in and out of the room. We don't use it during the cold months.

Currently outside it is 93F and heading up. House thermostat is set at 84F, every room has a ceiling fan with the only ceiling fans on are in the kitchen and family room. I'm currently in the Family Room with the temp at a comfortable 82F because the ceiling fan is on med. Night thermostat setting is 79F and only fans on are Bedroom and Living Room both on LOW.

I voted other - we have ceiling fans in most of house, but they are seldom used except by guests. Our AC is very efficient and I hate wind blowing directly on me.
We have used a sound machine at night for many many years and love it.
Yes, and a deep south girl here.

Ceiling fans are a must in the south!

We have one in each of the bedrooms, 2 in the family room (which is open to the kitchen) & 2 in the basement playroom.

The ones in the bedrooms are on year-round, even in winter. The air feels stuffy to me w/o the ceiling fan going, & I can’t sleep w/o it.

And, in addition to the white noise from the ceiling fan, I also have a white noise machine.

It's on 24/7 365. Each bedroom has them and only the spare bedroom is turned off however all the others are always on.
