:shamrock:☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️:shamrock:

Today is the day that everyone is Irish!
Normally I have a lot of fun with St. Patrick’s Day - we go out and toast a green beer to my stepdad that passed away today in 2015. But since we just got home from our trip and ate and ate and ate the entire trip, I’m wanting to just stay home tonight. We’ll put some green food coloring in a beer at home and toast my stepdad there. Today’s poll is not about food or beer, it’s about dressing in green today. It’s the one time of year that many of us enjoy having fun and dressing with a lot or just a little green. So let’s talk
green today……

Will you be wearing
green today?
If yes…..what will be
green?
(multiple choice)

For Me…….Yes, yes and yes! I have a super fun Mickey St. Patrick’s Day shirt that’s about 35 years old. I made sure it was ironed and ready to go before my trip. I’ll be wearing a green long sleeve shirt with it. I always wear fun holiday shirts to work - our patients always enjoy seeing them.

Welcome back, @slo ! I hope you and Katie had an AMAZING vacation!!
Not sure what I am wearing yet, but I have jury duty this week so have to "dress up" a little. Actually, I am not sure if I have much that IS green, except maybe a Hawaiian-leaf print shirt I bought to wear during our stay at the Poly last summer. Hmmm... have to think about this one.

Regardless of what I wear, the corned beef is already cooked, so tonight all I'll have to deal with is potatoes, carrots, and cabbage.

As a proud person of Irish descent I do the 'Wearing o' the Green' with a green shirt or tie for Saint Patrick's day (though his original color was blue). That said I wear an Irish made cap every day to keep the sun and rain off me bald head.

Welcome Back Slo missed the polls and you last week but I know you all had a fabulous time and I’m so happy you did !!!! That food you ate looked delicious!!!

Happy St Patrick’s Day !!! Not Irish here I’m Scottish so close !! Beautiful country Ireland 🇮🇪 enjoyed visiting Dublin tremendously!!!

I’ll wear a green shirt today but I work at home so no one will see it but me 🤣🤣 but that’s where it stops not a fan of the US tradition of corned beef & cabbage -and I don’t want to start that debate again

Enjoy your green beer 🍺

I am wfh today (our office is not open on Mondays) and will be wearing an old green Grateful Dead tshirt from a Boston Garden show in the 90s with a shamrock with steal your face in it.

I went to the Hartford parade on Saturday and wore all the green! I hadn’t been in 20 years, it was a fun day!

Off topic: You do not have to dress up for it. I went in the fall and wore black pants and a sweater And I was for the most dressed up person. There were people in pjs and sweatsuits.

I usually try to wear something with some green in it. I have a green jacket that I'll wear when I go to the grocery store today. But I don't have the "correct" shade of green for St. Patrick's Day.

I was so happy to wake up and see your poll, @slo ! We missed you last week, but I'm so glad you had a great trip!
I'll definitely do some little hint of green - probably jewelry. I work from home, so I'll be the only one to appreciate it, but I'll definitely send my kiddos out dressed in green!

Very Irish here but don't typically wear green today, or any day. Marie will though, and she's 100% Italian. Red on St. Joseph's Day for her also, on the 19th.

And again, welcome home, Sandy. Hope you guys enjoyed the trip and that Katie enjoyed her WDW cocktail/s. You've been missed here.

I thought St Patrick’s Day had come and gone. Towns nearby have been having parades for the last three weekends. I’m wearing green today but it is a total coincidence.

I will definitely be wearing green today - including a green shirt, St. Patrick's Day patterned socks, and maybe something green in my hair.

It's raining hard here this morning, but I don't have to go out until 11:00ish, so hopefully the weather will improve before then. I have a class at the library, and expect to see a lot of people wearing green.

I completely forgot while getting dressed this morning, so no green for me. Not that I own much green clothing, anyway.

Don't really own much green clothes in the first place and don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day in general, so it's just another Monday for me.
