Saturday I made a new recipe (Easy Crockpot Mississippi Chicken) that called for pepperoncini peppers. I don’t buy these peppers very often, and when I went to buy them I noticed they come in mild and hot. So I bought the mild, because I’m a lightweight when it comes to spicy foods - LOL!! So as I’m looking at all these peppers at the store I started to wonder if people buy these a lot. So I ask you…..

What is your opinion of pepperoncini peppers?
Do you like them mild or hot?
How often do you, or someone in your home, buy them from the grocery store?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I somewhat like mild pepperoncini peppers and I buy them rarely. I like banana peppers a lot more, but don’t buy them very often either. I did like the pepperoncini peppers in the recipe I made and I’ll make this recipe again. My DH likes pepperoncini peppers and is very excited to have the rest of the peppers to eat now.

I don’t buy them but I do like them I often get them on my sandwiches mild of course I don’t like things super spicy 🌶️

I do like them, but I never buy them in a jar or anything. I will get them at sandwhich shops or pizza places, etc. I love when they are included.

I buy the mild version to add to Greek Salad, and enjoy them with that dish. I don’t use them for anything else, but am curious about your recipe for Easy Crockpot Mississippi Chicken. Can you share your recipe? ;)

Sure - I’d be happy to
Send me a PM to remind me 🙂

The Togo's sandwich chain puts them on their sandwiches. I order my sandwiches without them, but they sometimes put them on accidentally. and I will eat them.
I have been on my soap box before here about being happy when the trend to make everything "hot" is over and I don't have to worry about peppers making an otherwise delicious meal awful.

I like them, but I haven't bought any in a long time. I have no issues with heat or spicy foods, as long as they have flavor.

I don’t really have any use for them. I can only remember ever having bought one jar, to try the Mississippi pot roast recipe, which I hated and will never make again. I threw the rest of the jar out when we moved.

Love them. Mild. Buy the sliced ones often. They are not spicy IMO, more like tangy with a little bite. I use them In Mississippi Pot Roast (we make it into sandwiches) and just a couple of days ago I made “Italian Sub in a Tub” salad and put them in there.

I like them, I love spice, ds21 loves Mississippi pot roast so I always have them on hand. I also love roasted Italian long hots and shishito peppers.
