I sent money to 2 graduates this year, but neither had a party. A good friend's son graduated High School and my cousin's son graduated High School.

Just did 1 this year, we had one for my step-daughter who graduated college. It was A LOT of work (thankfully it was a TEAM EFFORT), but very successful and everybody had a good time. It was pretty close, about 15 minutes away the church's social hall. They let us set up everything the night before so the "day of" preparations were minimal.

We are all very happy with the way things went and it turned out.

As far as I know, this is the ONLY graduation party we will be attending this year. I KNOW it's the only one we are hosting:rotfl2:
Congratulations to you step-daughter 🎓🎉
I think only one, grandson Jeremy's, from high school. Very close.

Congratulations to Jeremy 🎓🎉
One party for our granddaughter! It required a long ride, up to New Hampshire! She graduated college in May!
Congratulations to your granddaughter 🎓🎉

DD #2 graduated high school in May. She was not interested in a party, just going out to eat post ceremony.

Can't remember the last time I went to an actual grad party. They are not big in our family, all my kids are adults and niece and nephews' kids aren't that old. I have been to a lot more baby showers over the past 15 years.

Oldest DD got her MBA in 2019 and her school did a nice job with that, evening reception the night before on top of a building with views. That counted as a party for us!

My DD graduated in late May and we had her party last weekend. My nephew graduated too so we threw a combined graduation party for the both of them. I made cake pops that look like them both in their caps. They turned out really cute!

DS went to 3 parties, he and his friends are all 2025 graduates. DH and I didn't go. We aren't the types to host/do parties, DS didn't express interest in that. So happy for all these guys. DS will have 4 friends going to UT, so hoping their friendships will carry on.
