Slip on athletic shoes for the parks

Nike makes a lot of black running shoes. If you buy them from a local running store, they can probably put lace locks on them for you, which will make them "slip ons" as opposed to shoes that need tying.

I bought a pair of Keen's slides for our last trip. I love them. They have a closed toe and open back and are waterproof for the afternoon rain storms. I don't see them on the Keens website right now but maybe you can find them on Amazon.

Thanks! I like those! For now, I am wanting something more like an athletic shoe, but in March we are going on the cruise and those look like they would be nice for Castaway Cay. I love that they have a closed toe with an open back. I am putting these on my Christmas list! :)

The Olukai "Pehuea" I mentioned above are on sale now at LL Bean! They are mesh so that shouldn't be a problem! Just a thought! http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/117471?feat=olukai-SR0&page=women-s-olukai-pehuea-slip-ons
Unfortunately, the shoes came today and I think they are really uncomfortable. They are a little wide and surprisingly short in length. I always buy the same size and never had them be tight in length so this was a first. Luckily, I have an ll bean store near me so I am going to return them. It was a good try.

That's a bummer. I'm sorry. I guess if they run wide they won't be good for me with my narrower than narrow feet. Glad you have a place to return them to. :(

Go Skechers walking shoes are the best. The memory foam inside make them super comfortable. My most favorite part is the material dries fast when they get wet so it could be perfect for a little rain shower.

Old shoes are best lol, seriously wear old comfy shoes , WDW is not the place to break in new shoes. I love my crocs for the parks, have several pair, also have a few pair of sandles I can stay in all day

My best shoe recommendation is to not wear the same pair all day. If you take a break back at the room change shoes.

I have sketcher go walks that I love and wear all the time at home but find them not so great for Disney. My best are a pair of keen closed toed sandals and my good old Birkenstocks that have a heel strap. I also will wear an athletic shoe and if it's a colder trip either my Merrill or Keen light hiking type shoes.
