Hi

Am interested to know if any of you are doing Slimming World and how its going?
Haivng looked at their website i find it amazing that they expect you to eat 6 low fat cheese triangles with ham and veg at lunch - 6!!!!!!

I am not that overweight - probably about stone and I use this as an excuse that I dont need to diet... however I am starting to think (hope :rotfl:) that losing that stone would make all the difference as i constantly go from "Its only half a stone, I dont look that fat - who cares" to "I feel fat and have NOTHING to wear again!!!"

My other problem is that I go to the gym/run 3/4 times a week and I also use this as an excuse to eat tons of food :lmao: coz I deserve it as i've trained !!!!

I tried Cambridge Diet for a while earlier this year - well Monday to Fridays anyway and lost around 4 lb in total - what a waste and all i fancied eating ALL the time was spinach and goats cheese pizza!! Not really very good when you're faced with a watery cupasoup!!! :rotfl:

I'd be interested to know in how you find it - a friend is going and i'm thinking about going with her on Tuesday.

Share those success stories with me (as I munch on my last chocolate biscuit :rotfl2:)

Many thanks

I joined SW and had my first weigh in last wk and lost 5 1/2lbs
I am doing the extra easy plan, and yes you can eat loads its great!!
you can have between 5-15 syns a day- so i can have and do have a bit of choccy:cloud9:
give it a go you will be surprised at how full you feel :thumbsup2

yes you can have marshmallows, they are synned. saisnburys do a bag of sugar free ones for around 5 syns :thumbsup2

SW is fab and to me its more of a healthy lifestyle rather than a diet.
it know a couple of good forums that i use, i could never afford to go to group.

Ive not found it that hard to follow (on the extra easy ), but have had my weak moments ....lol, i find it hard when out knowing what to eat sometimes, and its hard to work out the sins of some stuff they dont list, ie my hubbys butternut squash cakes i ate a ton of yesterday....lol

Im sure once its not all as new and ive bought some more books ill get there...also we didnt have takeaway last week for the first week in ages, so thats always a good thing...will let you know how i got on.

If yo pm me ill give you the online code, it changes every week, so you can log on and see the members area.

think thats the only thing i miss- the online password.
