When I was little my Dad used to buy me SlimJims and YooHoo all the time. Great snack for a growing child, huh?

Oh, and we used to eat fried Scrapple with our breakfast whenever we vacationed in Ocean City, MD - that was the only time we ever ate it. Is it a regional thing?

Man, how have I lived this long with all the crap I ate as a child!!

yeah - for sure! I know they're garbage, but my father used to buy them for me as a little girl. I've always loved them. Now ~ I will buy them for DD and DS occasionally and I'll fight them for the last slim jim I don't know what I like better slim jims or pickled eggs...

Slim jims have been one of my family's "vacation foods" since I was a little girl. We'd always eat them on long road trips and in motel rooms.
