How do they keep non-ticket holders out of MNSSHP?

I know that sounds a bit elitist, but having spent a fair sum of money for the tickets, I want to know if it really will be tickets holders only or will everybody be allowed to stay?

How can it work, practically? I can't imagine they can go around the Park, stopping random guests and asking them to show their MNSSHP tickets, can they? :confused3 However, if they don't stop non-holders from staying, then nobody in future would bother to pay for a ticket.

I saw pictures on another forum and you are given wrist bands to show to stay in the area and get on the rides.

They used to give wrist bands for evening EMH (you had to show your hotel card) so I assume it will be similar with this (show your ticket)

The park closes at 7pm, the party starts at 8pm but ticket holders get in from 5pm.

I am assuming we will get wristbands as that is what they do at WDW :confused3

Someone who has been may be able to tell us ;)

Woweeeee, that was a quick answer. Thank you, I didn't like to think I was paying for nothing (cheapskate)

You get given a wristband when you enter the park for the party (8-11pm) or if you're already in the park, you go and collect your wristband (presumably you'll have to show your party ticket at this point).

The CMs can ask to see your wristband during the evening to check if you should be there or not - we got asked while walking up Main street.

Hubby and i have just come back from DLP and went to the first MNSSHP. We went in to the park around 6.30pm and a CM met us at the front gates and gave us a wrist band. We had FP to ride Thunder Mountain once we had finished that, CMs were ushering people to the front of the park.

Once Candlerabration (sp?) had finished everyone who had tickets for MNSSHP were ushered under the castle and into Fantasyland. They had CMs at the castle entrance checking wrist bands as you went in and also at all the rights, CMs were asking to see wristbands.

To be honest I didn't really think it was worth it. I know it was aimed at the younger auidence, but thought it would still be fun. It was very restricting and a little naff in my opinion.

We also thought it strange that Adventure land was decorated for Halloween but we weren't allowed in there, would have made a better atmosphere, more spooky.

Im glad we did it, but I wouldn't pay extra to do it again.

And are there eny guide to understand your "stof" like POTC etc.?

Sorry we are all guilty of using abbreviations rather than typing out the whole word eg POTC - Pirates Of The Caribbean.

This is a whole topic on its own. So it is best to have a look at the abbreviations list.
If you see something in a post, just ask the question on the thread as you did here. Someone will be sure to help :)
