I made them a couple of weeks ago and now I'm like, ok, what's next? Yeah, I could start on doing a touring plan, but I think DH and his parents would think I went completely off the deep end.
Maybe you can make a fancy spreadsheet that lists all of your ADRs? I did that after making my ADRs and it helped to soothe the obsessive planner in me!
I had columns for:
Date
Restaurant Name
Restaurant Location
Meal Name
Meal Hours
ADR time
ADR number
I even shaded the different rows in different colors to make it really pretty.
No. I actually felt relieved. Once I'd finally settled on what/where/when, it felt great to not have to continue to dither over my decisions. I'm counting the days!

I did that last trip. This time I'm expanding my horizons a bit and have a small notebook with a master page of ADR info, then one for each day- to write in reviews and feedback. I'm pathetic.

I have a problem of going over my ADR's over and over again. Should I pick somewhere else? should I switch this time? should I add another dinner? what about a character breakfast? I can never seem to settle and I'm still doing this now.....December cannot get here fast enough....
I feel let down once the ADR's are made. We do our touring plans the same time we pick our restaurants so there's no planning left to do. Then I have 6 months of waiting. Out of boredom I started planning our next vacation while I waited for this one to come around. So sad.
My husband said last year when we got back from Disney he wouldn't be going back for a couple of years - all the lugging of the baby carriage in the sept. heat killed him. I mentioned the free dining thing was happening again this year after it was already announced and he said I will go only if I can rent one of those electric chairs. I thought he was kidding so this meant he would go. The next morning before I was went to work I called dining reservations to make sure I could get table service restaurants and I did not all great times but doable. Then I ran into work and called the travel agent and booked the trip. NOw I am planning on going next year and we haven't gone this year. Help I am one of the addicted. It helps to say I have free money to go on my disney visa. As long as they have affordable specials it beats the Jersey shore any day for me!
After I booked my dining reservations I pulled up my little apread sheet I custom made for last year and plugged in all the new info for this year.
It keeps me busy along with the dis boards while I am at work.

You just need to start second guessing each of your ADRs based on each review that is posted about any of the restaurants. And then you can post threads asking for advice on if you should change your ADR(s) based on each review (bad review change away from that one, good review change to that one) that is posted between now and when you get on the plane
This will keep you so busy that the next thing you know it will be time to go

For our Dec trip, I definately felt that way. ADRs are set, but it is too early to start really working on touring plans and I'm pretty sure I won't make many more changes to the basic schedule. Not so much for August, since it is so close and there is so much else to busy my time with. Booking at the last minute (29 days out) does have some advantages, I guess.
