This is sort of on/off topic :) .

I live near Cleveland, Ohio in the USA. I went to a flea market this morning and found, of all things, a "EuroDisney Feel the Magic" (English version) CD!
Looks like it is dated 1992 - but it is so cool. It has a song called "Supercalifragi EuroDisneyLand Vacation" on it, and a really cool medley of a disco favorite "Macho Duck" starring Donald Duck and so many more. With my trip just a few weeks away, I had to buy it (it was only USD$3.00)!

What a deal.

This person also had the following CDs that I snatched up:

Disney's Happy Chinese New Year (the outside has Chinese writing, and two of the songs are in Chinese)

Tokyo Disneyland Music Album (all the writing is in Japanese) This one is still sealed! (1999)

Tokyo Disneyland Music Album (this comes in a cardboard sleeve - all in Japanese - can't tell the date!)

Die lustige von Welt Walt Disney (this one is obviously in German) THis one is cool as all the songs are in German. (1992)

Disney's Lovely Dogs & Cats (Japanese) - the insert has the lyrics written in both Japanese and English, but I think all the songs are in English.

And then two CDs that look like they were made in Englad:

"And the Winner is...." A collection of Honored DIsney Classic Songs 1994
"The Very Best of Disney" released by Pickwick Group 1993.

I'm just so tickled with this great set of international cds! It has given me the idea that when I visit DLP that one of the best souveniers I could get would be to get some of my favorite songs in French (I'm trying to learn French!).

Thanks for sharing my fun!

I would say that was quite a find!! '92 is the year Euro Disney opened - so it's going to be one of the original CDs they sold!!! :thumbsup2

Your other CDs sound fun too - especially the Tokyo ones. What a great collection!! :Pinkbounc

wow that is a great find! well done :thumbsup2

I'm supposed to be working today - but I am having so much fun listening to this music. You have never heard Davey Crockett and the Country Bears until you've heard it in Japanese :teeth:

How cool are you!!!!

I am going to look for a cd when I am there now. We have a Disneyland (the one in California) CD that we just LOVE. It would be great to add a DLP CD to our collection.

You made quite the find!!! :goodvibes

thats amazing, i used to have that on tape!! wow, that brings back memories :) lucky you, fantastic cd - and it will definitely be worth something. im just so peeved i didnt keep my euro disney stuff like the park tickets (remember what they used to look like?) - apparantly they're worth hundreds now if they say euro disney on them!

Hello there! Lucky ladyandtramp.... I've only got the french version of that cd and always looked for the english one... Not even on emule I can find it... :sad1: maybe someone could be so precious to share it...

And what a luck would also be to find a video tape of the show... it WAS amazing... I recorded it in 1992 and, once home, found out that my videotape was corrupted.... I'm still in pain, thinking about it... I remember it was the Montecarlo Ballet Group, they and the coreography were simply GREAT... (does anyone remeber it?)

Kisses

I have the cassette of Feel the Magic - how funny is the version of A Pirates Life?
