Slight Dilemma

I currently have 2 trips planned at the same time - both through Costco Travel. I have 1 trip booked as a family to go somewhere other than Disney but that won't happen if my daughter in law has to continue nursing school throughout the summer. The second trip is for grandson and myself to go to Disney. Trying to decide if I should link my trip now or wait until it is a definite no go for the family trip. My 60 day window is 5/13 and DIL probably won't know until 5/14 or 17th if she has to go through the summer.

Is there a disadvantage to linking the trip? I will be able to get a refund from Costco up until the day before check in but I don't know if linking will cause any problems. I was able to make park reservations.

I am assuming you booked a "package" of resort+tickets. Linking your reservation should have no impact on a refund if you need to cancel. I recommend you link and go ahead to make your park reservations sooner rather than later. Limited availability for DHS is starting to creep into July.

The only time that I am aware linking to MDE may impact a refund is for ticket-only purchases. Just be aware of any timelines or rules Costco has in place regarding cancellations, which may or may not be different than WDW's policy.
