Sliding Question Need Help

I am hoping some of you could help me with a couple of water slide questions

1. What causes a character to “fall off” the side of the slide, when their hands are not even on the keyboard?

2. What causes a character to turn backwards on a water slide, when their hands are not even on the keyboard?

Some of you may be thinking what does it matter, just hop back on or exit the ride. Well, yesterday during the ride event I lost track of Souper while she was sliding. While trying to figure out where she was, and why the ride was slow (lag, crash or what ever) I noticed a staff member entered the room. Just as I said hello to staff, another character said we are stuck because girl is backwards. I located and moused over the backwards character. Guess who was backwards? Souper.

As soon as I learned I was backwards I clicked my self to do what I could to clear the way. My character ended up standing next to the ride. The other people in the room began to move. Then my character was suddenly disconnected. Souper received a 2 hour ban.

Yes, a ban. Those of you that know Souper, knows she plays vmk for fun and by the rules. She plays to have a good time, not to cause turbulence. She plays only when she is in an upbeat positive mood. So, if any of you could enlighten me as to how my character ends up backwards, I would greatly appreciate it. Is this a system bug?

This happened while I was NOT afk. Those of you riding afk, beware. So, if you do see me in the game and I do not seem like myself, that is why.

How could they ban you for a technical glitch like that? Preposterous! Staff and their way of dealing with these things is starting to make me angry. They should have just booted you from the room if they were to do anything about it at all. At least it was only two hours I guess if we want to look on the bright side.

This happened yesterday. Yes, it was only 2 hours, but and frustrated that I got a ban on record for what appeared in my eyes to be a technical glitch.

Big hugs to you!! I am so sorry this happened. I think someone must have pushed the wrong button, my friend. Maybe they just meant to boot you from the room...? Thank goodness it was only a 2-hour ban.

I have no idea how characters end up stuck (happened to a few ppl including myself a few times last night on the black ride's second room -- when it happened to me I quickly exited and got back in line).

And strangely enough i saw another girl backwards on the ride yesterday.
I don't know if she clicked on a start pieces or what, but then suddenly she turned back around and went on.
A two hour ban is definitely ludicrous!

Were you in Hula's or Sparky's ride? Sorry about the ban, ridiculous!! I have been stuck and somehow fell off to, but I left real quick and got back in line..

That's insane! We all know VMK reads these boards. Maybe maybe maybe someone will right what was clearly an error in moderation.

The ONLY thing I can think of: Was there some questionable chat taking place in the room and maybe everyone there received a 2 hour ban? They did clearly state that they are cracking down on moderation. Maybe someone said something about where they live, not YOU, but someone else in the room??? It's the only way it somehow sort of kinda makes sense.

I would keep my eyes open for a staff member while you ride today. They are out there. See if you can talk to 1 of them.

OT: These rides ARE easy to get turned around on. Happened to me and I also have no clue how.

Were others yelling things at you since you were backwards and backing up the line (even though not by your doing )?

That would seem to me as something that might get a "harrassment" violation and maybe you got the charge instead of them?

Just a thought based on what you have shared since clearly, I wasn't there.

Well that seems a uncalled for on their part. How were you harrassing anyone? If this is the staffs new way of handling those who get stuck from their side's glitches or whatever stupid things then there is still a problem. There are alot of other things they need to take care of that are bad. Sorry that happened to you. I know I somehow ended up off the slide. I looked away for at the time so didn't notice until a minute or so later that I was still in the same room. I tried to find me and didn't right away but thankfully did once I clicked the right part of the slide to hop back on it. If I hadn't I would have left. I can't believe the gave you a ban though. 2 hours or not it was uncalled for.

Be sure to write and tell VMK, and tell them you were trying to get out teleporter. I don't think there is a way of the teleporter to tell the truth other then to use the globe and go to another room, but you were trying your best.

I saw the same thing happen to several times today (Sunday) and Fin came in and booted them.

Stay out of the red room, it has the backwards teleporter.

Good Luck on this Happy. Thank-You for letting us all know as well. I had gotten booted in a ride room today, and I have no idea why? Again, I was not afk either, or not paying attention. I also ended up off the slide, in the blades of grass, and have no idea how I got there? Couldn't even see my character.
A Ban seems very unfair. I hope that you get resolution to this issue, even though the ban is over.
You are a wonderful vmk player and this should have never happened to you.

Awww, BIG HUGS souper/happy I can not tell you how many times today I have ended up on the outside of the ride, stuck in a teleporter, or even backwards It was NOT any specific room, but EVERY SINGLE room !!

All I can say is "Shame on you VMK for banning someone that did nothing wrong, except partake in the Slide-A-Thon that CLEARLY had NUMEROUS techincal problems !!!"

Sheesh, as I was typing this ... 1 of my characters got stuck in a teleporter on my laptop and I did not even know it until I happened to turn around and look
