i am looking for a good slideshow program that would allow me to make a professional looking slideshow for my website entry page that is sleek ...i would really like one that would resemble a book of photos flipping the pages til you get to "enter" ( if i could only write code:sad2: ) to get to my body of my website or if that is not possible at least a photo that would pan in then say enter to go to my website....i have a slide show now that is ok but it has slide.com logo on it and i want something more professional looking....sooooooo any ideas? i don't like the pse slideshow...it's ok for basic stuff but i want it to be nicer looking than that. same with the lightroom one, i'd like a few more effects than those but i don't want it cutesy

Adobe Flash is really the way to go for this. Right-click on a lot of web sites with this kind of fun stuff and it shows them using Flash. The downside is it has a pretty steep learning curve. The other downside is it is not low cost.

ProShow Gold can do some things like this and there is no programming involved, the interface is more P&S. One of the transitions looks sort of like turning pages. I can put a short clip of that on the web if you are interested in seeing it.

Another option might be Premiere Elements (also with a page turning transition) but I have little experience with it so far.

i liked a couple of the jalbum skins:thumbsup2 although i was having trouble getting the slide show to work...i asked on the office live forum cause i think it must be a different set up than most (OL imean) as a lot of stuff has to have additional code added to work
so thanks for the help!

Np happy to help! Its really pretty cool the more I dig into it the more I find I want to try out :lmao:

I noticed a couple of odd things with my slideshow in IE but it was ok in firefox it seems IE did not like the progessive loading of some images turned off that option and no more red X LOL

You might want to update your java and .net framework that seems to help from what have read on other threads with albums and issues.

I use office 2007 and Vista in case it might help.
