Slide Mount swap

I am so sorry Nancy... I just glanced at your siggy and saw "Buffy" and ran with it.

You bet I will be signing up for this swap! I love trying new stuff, and swaps give me a chance to do things I havent tried yet. You gals may have to hold my hand a little bit on this one though, if thats okay?

I just tried making a few and they came out horrible. I will get more slide mounts and try a few more. Are they suppose to be picture frames or do they have a backing with something inside the opening?

They are like little minature picture frames or you can make them into shaker boxes.. I'll post a few pictures..

As for leaving room to add a photo.. I would just adhere 2 sides.. like an "L" shape so you could slide a photo or transparency in and than the individual could seal it shut.

I also have seen some awesome mounts that have little charms hanging in the center of them.. or some of the mounts are use to highlight specific parts of a photo or word.

I saw the sizzix die at Joann's today...40% off. The sizzix site shows it clearenced, which means discontinued, so I figured I better get it when I saw it.

either transparency paper or the backer plastic from embellishments like Jolees or Disney. Anything clear and sturdy.

Thanks B&MB that is what I was going to say too!! I love to use my page protector sheets too!!! The ones that always seem to get wrinkled in one corner..
