Slide Mount Swap COMPLETE

Hi Ladies,

The slide mount swap is on it's way back to you!!
First, I would like to thank all of you who sent me little surprises!! They are completely unnecessary but extremely thoughtful and LOVED! Thank you again!!!
Second, everything was checked and rechecked to make sure they were all intact for mailing those shakers.. Everything looked good when I sealed them up!!!
Third, remember postage is going up on May 14th for future swaps.. The USPS website has that info posted.
Fourth, don't worry about sending DC money for my swaps.. I'm going to start utilizing the Click It/Ship to get free DC from now on..
Fifth and FINAL thought... This was a wonderful swap!! I'm anxious to do the holiday slide mount swap in a few short months!! Yeah!!! Be on the look out for the next swap I'm hosting (sign ups 4/6) for Parades/Shows! I'm still working out the kinks to the set up..but I'll have it figured out this weekend..
Okay, enough of my rambling.. lets get to the good stuff!!!

Mine has already made that stupid buzzing sound. Like I'm really going to run to get it when that happens? They used to make models that you could turn that off.
Guess I could go fold some it in between checking here. Like that is going to happen.

I know!! I had an idea w/ a statement she made.. and I thought.. Cool..but when I ripped those bad boys open and saw it.. I was like OMG! THAT is adorable.. so it sit on the counter waiting for DH to see it.. He was amazed.. "Honey that is great! How did you think of it".. Sorry babe, I didn't.. Mickster did.. Hey, we've talked to her on the phone before.. Yep, that's the one.. I guess he does pay attention!!

Thanks guys. I was going to make a sun out of paper and glue it to the slide, but I didn't like it. The sun just came to me and the fact that my celebrate ribbon had exactly 8 celebrates printed on it sealed the deal.

ETA: I loved the pictures of the rest too! I can't wait to see them in person. I have several LOs in mind where I could use these. Great idea. Thanks for hosting Nancy!

See the water part was from left overs from the recipe swap...it is Ocean Floor by Frances Meyer

The sand part is from K&Company Antiquity Tan Parchment Flat. The tan paper was from Mike's for sure...the water paper, could have been from Joann's, ACMoore's or Mike's. Sorry, I shopped them all for that swap, and I can't remember which came from where

That's okay Deb.. that gives me my starting points.. I too shop all over... I want to get my hands on them.. I hate to wait for shipping.. hence why I'm going bananas waiting for the cart we ordered!!

Okay, off to the and get those pictures that are spread all over the laundry/scrap room.. Yes, it's one in the same room.. I spend so much time there that it was a win /win.. I could swap/scrap and still do that dreaded chore!
