Slide at SAB

We are going to BCV in the fall and I'm wondering how "fast & furious" the slide is at SAB. I love water slides but admit I get just a little nervous about enclosed slides.

Can anyone share their experience? Is the slide completely dark, semi-dark or is there a lot of light coming through?

Does it go from tunnel directly into the pool or is there a section that is open prior to plunging into the pool?

I am a huge slide lover, so I can appreciate your question, especially the dark part. No, there is no dark part to this slide. However, the very first part of it, is very fast and straight. And you have to partially lie down for that part too. But at the end of that, it starts to curve and is pretty fast too. Not so fast that it is not fun, its still pretty fun. But that first part, I'm not too crazy about, my boys love it though. Will it stop me from going again, nah, I still love slides too much. AFter the first straight part, it is all open to air, but even the tunnel part is completely lit from the outside so you can see. Have fun!

I'm a real chicken when it comes to slides. The SAB slide is fun and not bad at all.

thanks so much for the info! I love any and all roller coasters but when it comes to slides, I get a little more timid!
