First - I wanted to search and see if there was a thread about Sleuth's already but every time I click on search I get a message that search has been disabled by the administrator. Is there a reason for this?

Anyway, has anyone gone to this dinner show? Is it worth it? How's the food? The show? Total Value?

This may not be helpful, but we did go to Sleuth's on our honeymoon ten years ago. We had a great time, I don't remember any complaints about the food (which I think was chicken and side dishes).
We still talk about it. I guess if it has been around in a market as competitive as the Disney area, it must still be a good show?!
Hope you have fun!

We've been three times in the last two years. Good food (choice of chicken, beef or pasta). Shows here are generally quite good, although we were a bit disappointed with the one we saw most recently (in August). That one was called Joshua's Demise - I'd recommend instead that you try to see Squire's Inn or Kim and Scott Tie the Knot. My kids (ages 11 and 13) absolutely love this place. The humor can be a bit risque, but usually goes right over the heads of younger kids. One suggestion - if they offer you a booth seat in the back, instead of a regular table, I would decline. This is where we were in August, and we found it difficult to fully see what was going on. Enjoy!

I have been a few times and must say that I think that Sleuth's is one of the better dinner shows in Orlando (as compared to Medieval Time, Arabian Nights, and Pirates). The food wasn't bad, and the entertainment was great. I think it is well worth the money. Check around before you go, as I know you can find coupons for about $5 off the show price. It isn't much, but when on vacation every bit you save can be helpful!!

I may be answering the wrong thing but I thought that this Sleuth's was held in the Grovenor hotel. If so we attended this last year (buffet with prime rib - food was good) and we did enjoy the show. We got discounted tickets from ticketmania which made it even better. This show did not have any booths in the dining room we were in but like I said, I may have this show mixed up with another Mystery watch show.

yecats-

The show at the Grosvenor is not the same as the Sleuth's Mystery Dinner show. I have seen both and personally do not like the show held at the Baskervilles. The Sleuth's shows are a much better production and had better food in my opinion.

We actually looked into this when we were just in Orlando a week ago, although we did not go--- here is what I do know--- it is $41.95 per person with choice of lasagna, lasagna with meatballs, or prime rib (for $3 more) the shows are offered nightly at 7:30 pm, except on Saturday, where they have a kids show at 6pm, and an additional show at 9pm. There are coupons in the coupon books down there that you can get for free for $4 off per person.
Hope this helps a little!
