Does anyone know what # you call for ressies for the rides and how long they last? Thanks in advance

Hi YOOPERFAN!

I just called WL to make the ressies and they gave me the number to call. (407) WDW-PLAY and its $30 per carriage and it's for 30 mins. They get on board in front of the WL and they let you off at the same spot.

As I'm posting this, I'm STILL on hold for WDW-PLAY to make my ressies!

Hope this helps! ENJOY!!!

I believe the rides are 30 minutes and the number to call is (407) WDW-PLAY. Not 100% sure so correct me if I'm wrong, someone!

Can you book when you get to the resort?

Not sure I'll have time to do this, but really want to try.

Hi there,

I'm not sure if you can make the ressies at the resort. I don't see why not, but I know when I called WL directly, she couldn't do it for me and had to transfer me to WDW-PLAY.

It may also be booked by the time you get to WL to make the ressies. I just made our ressies and it did take a LONG while for them to answer my call but the CM (Lindy) was very nice.

They did take my C.C. down b/c there's a 24 hour cancelation policy, but she said when I get on the ride, the CM can take cash or my room key as payment.

Hope this helps! ENJOY!

Hi, I went on the sleigh ride on the 3rd. It was fun and different. There really isn't much to see because the woods area that they take you to is quite dark unless the moon is out. The driver also took us to the back of Wilderness Lodge so you did see a little bit of that area. We enjoyed it because it was a relaxing 30 minutes to chat with our friends and to have a good laugh when the horse decided um to put it delicately, take a load off it's mind and nearly knock us out of the carriage because the driver has to stop, pick it up and take it with us. We couldn't wait for the wind to shift!! He did tell us that he was pretty booked so I would suggest anyone that wants to do this book it as far in advance as possible. There were people asking if they could just go on that night without ressies and the driver turned them away and said you have to make a ressie because he was so booked!

How many people can fit on the sleigh? Is there a place here on the DIS Boards for sharing a sleigh, like there is with the Illuminations Cruise boats?

Called for a ressie and I couldn't believe it. Every spot was booked for our entire 8 night stay! We are there 1/21-1/29. Bummer!

We had four adults in our sleigh. I believe it will hold two adults and up to three kids. Sorry you didn't get a reservation. John the driver did say he was pretty booked! I haven't seen anything on the boards about sharing the sleigh ride. The one thing I would suggest is be careful where you stand to wait for your turn on the sleigh ride because it's right in front of WL where everyone whizzes through in their cars and honestly some people are oblivious to people standing where they told us to stand. One guy actually thought it was quite humerous that he took out a cone that was intended to keep cars away from the horse and sleigh! We were told to stand by the railing and when we did another CM told us that it wasn't a very safe place to stand so they need to work on that issue a little bit for safety reasons. My Jersey came out of me when I told the one cast member that the cones are there and that the driver should be more careful, not us. After all we were just following another cm's directions on where to stand as it was a new adventure for us.
