My DH and I will be there celebrating our 10 year anniversary in December.

Does anyone have experience with either of these two carriage rides? We're staying at WL, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance,
M :)

I actually talked to a friend about this the other night and she's done both and said the sleigh ride is fun but it's dark and just woods after you leave the resort but that the carriage ride was actually prettier and better to her because you get to the Port Orleans all lit up at night and there is "something to look at". Just her opinion but I opted after hearing that to go w/ the carriage ride. Have fun!

ps. we'll be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary down there too in December! :)

We did the WL sleigh ride and it was nice but really quite dark! I have since heard that there is a sleigh ride at FW where you wind up seeing the camp sites all lit up with people's Christmas decoarations! We'll be trying that one next!

If your going in December I would recommend the sleigh ride at the WL.. My sister did and & the pictures that she took, let alone her story about the ride were beautiful.
My DH & I did the horse drawn carriage ride at POR & that is beautiful too but being that your going during the holiday season, definately do WL... You will love it! :cloud9:

We've booked sleigh ride for our Christmas stay. We've booked 2 sleigh rides so we can take DD, DSinlaw, DGD,DGS in one and DH, DS & myself in the other. We would love to have pictures if you have them you can email. We want to surprise the grandkids at 8 & 4. THANKS!
59 days until checkin on 12/25.

To do the carriage rides at POR, do yu have to book them in adnace or can you take your chances on showing up and getting to ride? We are going April 13-20, 2008. Thanks!

any pics??? I would love to see some pictures to try and get an idea of which sleigh ride to book. Thanks :)

It is best to make advance reservations. We were just there a week ago and try to walk up and ride, but they were all booked. However, we were able to book a ride for a couple of nights later. They seem to be pretty popular and they are a lot of fun.
