Sleigh Ride, Whos been on it?

Not sure if this is where to post this, but looked at the resort board and didn't think it should go there either???

Has anyone done the sleigh ride at VWL??? We are doing it on 12/29 and not sure what to expect, I am assuming it goes down the pavead trails that take you over to the campground, then aroaund the campground and back? Are the trails lit up with twinkly lights???

Yes my husband and I did this December 2004, we took the last sleigh ride time which was 10.30pm and it was fantastic, if a little cold. The only light is the moonlight, im not sure which route it goes, all round the forest, don't remeber seeing any villas or accommodation, I would definately recommend this.

We just did this last week. We did stay on a paved path but did not go all the way around the campground. We went toward the campground and then turned around in the middle of the path and came back the same way. No twinkling lights, just the trees and moonlight. We took a Mickey thermos full of hot choclate and bundled under the blanker. It was a nice holiday surprise for DH!
