Sleeveless shirts okay on men in these restaurants?

I would agree, please wear sleeves at sit down restaurants...especially buffets!!:goodvibes

No sleeves necessary. Of course I personally prefer the sleeveless shirts on men that have just the arms cut off at the pits versus the tank type.

This whole conversation is making me giggle.

I thought I was the only one in the world who worried about stray armpit hairs in the macaroni salad.

It feels good to see I am not alone....

Please don't let tank tops talk you out of your buffets...

Kids Sneeze
Adults Sneeze
Adults Don't Wash Hands after Bathroom Breaks
Adults snack off their plates as they get food
Most don't wash their hands before each trip up to the buffet
People sweat, sweat drips

All of this happens every day and how often do any of us get sick at buffets? I am NOT saying that this isn't all incredibly gross. I am just trying to point out that what we don't know/don't think about/block from our minds doesn't kill us - or even make us sick.

I need to go shower now, and probably take a bath in Purel. Blech!! :scared1:

you guys seriously have me gagging  !
the only buffet i have ever eaten in was in WDW - and now that may be the last one ever! ewwww!

unless your dh's name is orlando bloom, then i say cover it up!

on another note - as i type this my next door neighboor who is in his mid-60's and weighs around 250+ lbs is cutting his lawn - as usual- topless (can we talk about how he needs the "bro"?) yick! i always feel the need to draw the blinds when he is at it!

This one made me laugh out loud!!

Count me in on the low class take...they never look good on anybody period.

Theme park casual is the lowest of dress standards. I gather they allow this because many of the restaurants are located in the parks but I don't like the look when dining at all . Whenever I
see a man dressed that way he is usually smoking and swilling a beer:drinking: .

I thought wearing a bathing suit was prohibited inside Disney restaurants!!!

It could be worse when DH and I went to on an island vacation the restaurant on the beach was apparantly clothing optional and some guy came in with just a shirt on....say what! !!!!! So even a speedo would have been an improvement:lmao:

Are some actually saying that anyone, male or female, should not wear anything sleeveless in a restaurant?

There go all my Victoria & Alberts dresses.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that people are getting called 'low class' because of there choice to wear sleeveless shirts in 100 degree florida weather.

I mean come on, when did it become okay to publicly judge people on what they wear? :sad2:

It gets to 100 degrees here too! Yet somehow no one feels the need here to enter a sit down restaurant like that.

Wear the shirt in the park, but to wear it to dinner is classless.

It has nothing to do with germs - simply a lack of class.

The thread's becoming a debate, and it looks like the OP got an answer.
