Sleepless in my 9th month

:goodvibes

I remember the only way for me to sleep was upright in my office chair. I was willing to sleep anywhere at that point. lol

Definitely try the bananas for leg cramps. They worked wonders for me! I like bananas anyway, but I just made sure I had one once a day, at least until I stopped getting the night cramps.

Matterhorn: I had bell's palsy in the last several weeks, too! Just with the first pregnancy, not the 2nd. WOW, I've never heard a connection between pregnancy and bell's palsy, so thought I was the only one!

By the third baby I started to get comfortable...finally... LOL I used a big body pillow and those microwaveable wheat bags whenever I had a discomfort and something warm to drink.

I slept on my side on the comfy couch with the body pillow, great support in front and back. hang in there mommy!

OP, I'm sorry you're suffering through sleepless nights when you need the sleep the most. I had sleep and back problems before pregnancy and they only got worse at the end. The only way I could get any sleep for the last two months was to lay in the recliner with a heating pad on my back for a little while. Have you tried warm milk before bed? I hope you get some rest soon!

Reclining chair was the only thing that worked for me.
Hopefully, your almost there now. Good luck for a speedy, painless labor & delivery.

I had leg cramps adn would wake u at nite and whatever side of that body would be numb. I went to a chiro and it helpped me so much.

oh man..i feel your pain. i have 3 year old twins and no matter what i did i could not get a good sleep. we even bought a new mattress and that still didnt help. whats even worse is not being able to sleep but also feeling like you cant breath cuz your lungs are being constricted. my water broke at 31 weeks and i didnt even know becuz i thought the pressure was just from not being able to lie down properly. th ebest sllep youll get is right the babys born- that nite i slept like a baby :cloud9:
