Sleeping situation for a big 2 year old?

My very tall 2.5 year old (he's about 40"), still sleeps in a crib at home. Has no interest in crawling out (which is very surprising given his personality). At Disney last month we still did the pack n play. He likes to curl up and wedge himself into the corner. Our next trip he will be just shy of 3 and I am planning on using a toddler inflatable bed for him. We used one with my older DS from ages 3-5 and it worked great. None of us like sharing beds (well, DH and I will if its a king) so the air mattress works for us.

When we took my kids when they were 1 1/2 -2, we always rented cribs from A baby's best friend (www.abbf.com). I didn't want to risk the resort not having a full-size crib. And our first trip, my one year old son did not sleep well in the PnP. It's not that expensive to rent and they were clean and great!

When we went last August, DD was almost 3 and 38" - we used the Shrunks inflatable toddler bed and it was great.
