We have a California King and my DH seems to think he should have 3/4 of the bed. He likes to hog the covers so now I try to keep them tucked under me. He does snore at night even though he will tell he doesn't, I just give him a slight knudge to roll over. We started putting a pillow between us so he doesn't roll over on to me anymore. I was running out of room on the bed, though I don't know how.
Though I would love to have my "own bed" I would miss him being there.
Susy, I did have a problem with my DD who is 8 now, wanting to sleep in my bed. Before I got married she had slept with me all the time. It was so much easier to leave her in my bed than putting her in to hers but when I got married I finally had to let her know she had her own bed. I would stay in her room for a while in the beginning then eventually I didn't need to be there anymore. It seemed when they start school they get tired more easier. It took me a over a year for her to finally go to bed by herself. I don't know if starting kindergartenb was a help but she did seem to grow up. I do feel for you though.
