Do you ever wish that you could have the bed all to yourself??

My DH drives me crazy some nights!!
Tossing, turning, making noises. Then there are the nights he wakes me out of a sound sleep with his teeth grinding!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!! Those are the worst nights!!!:(

I want the 50's back.....I want my own bed!!!!;) ;)

Anyone else tired of thier spose or SO hogging the bed and being rude??

This is why I will never get anything smaller than a king.....we can cuddle up really close or go to our own sides and never know the other one is there.

My dad is a teeth grinder and would wake me up all the way down the hallway! That is a terrible sound......good luck!!!!!

I totally understand.

I swear for a year I didn't get any sleep at all because of the snoring. He wouldn't get any help.

I do have the bed to myself now and now that I'm used to it, it's niiiiiiiice.

HaHa, yup SO is a snorer and a sheet/blanket thief!!!

We have a King size and I could never have anything smaller!!!

Usually I just poke him or kick him till he rolls over and stops making noises.

He goes on business trips often so I do have the bed to myself many nights (he has been gone since Thursday, but is coming home late tomorrow night, YEA!!!) but then I just can't go to sleep without him  so I stay up all night  and then sleep in really late in the morning  !!!!!!!!!

WE not only have a king size bed, but also a sleep number bed, so the only complaint I have left is to roll him over when he snores! The big bed makes that easier though!

I sleep single in a double bad and I would love to have someone sleeping beside me. he can't roll over, snore talk in his sleep or pass gas. Now that is my ideal bed partner.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

My SO is a bed hog, a blanket hog and he freezes me all night with the a/c on. I told him I want my own room.:teeth:

When we went from a double to a queen, I could not believe the difference in size. I can go through the whole night and never bump into my DH. I thought that we would soon start filling up the extra space, but we had this bed for at least 4 years and there still seems to be plenty of room.

A king is nice - but often will not fit into a lot of rooms.

I like getting a king when we go to a hotel as a "treat." :)

Gail,
And if you ever find him, please CLONE him!!:bounce: ;)

DH also snores and I roll him over on his side, like Diane! Just lately he's become a cover stealer as well!:(

What is a "sleep number bed"????

I love closeness with DH. We can even sleep in a twin size bed and be just fine together.

I have to share my bed with my 5 yo DD... she kicks!

We DO have a king size bed!!! This is actually our third king size bed.
I didn't mean for the thread subject to indicate we have a double bed. LOL!!! ;)

I meant it to state that I WISH I could be sleeping single in a double bed!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!! :teeth:

I too roll my DH over when he snores or bed hogs but it does no good. He's back to his old tricks within no time at all.:(

I need to build a devider in the middle of our king size bed, maybe that would keep him on his own side. Maybe one built of bricks!!!! LOL!!!

I think we should all buy some of those electric cattle prods and then just shock them when they snore or steal the covers!!;)

And yes, I'm j/k - don't call the spousal abuse line just yet!:D

We have a california king bed, and being that dh is 6'6, and I really like to spread out, it would not make a difference if we had a double. a sleep number bed is where you get to have basically two air mattresses, and you can determine the softness/firmness of each with controls.

Whenever DH's stomach bothers him, which is a lot, he sleeps on the couch so he can prop up his head and shoulders. I've gotten used to sharing the bed with just the cat that now when DH actually comes to bed, it's hard for me to sleep.

DS (5) and DH sleep in a queen bed in our room. I sleep in a twin bed in my DS's room. Even when DH and I wet to CSR for our anniverary we did 'actually sleep' in separate beds. The double beds at the resorts never bother me because I always have my own!!!! Dh and I did sleep one night in the queen bed at AKL, while my son slept in the bunk. Then, they were in the queen bed and I was in the bunk. DH just likes to sleep in the middle of the bed and I don't like to sleep wth anyone touching me. DS doesn't sleep at all if he's alone! We played musical beds for many months until we just gave up!

i am the bad one to sleep with in our relationship. we have a queen size bed that i seem to think i need all of. i am only 5 feet tall. no inches! LOL! i also need all of the blanket! i dont snore but i do kick and punch. and poor kevin puts up with this every night. even wakes me up when fall asleep on the couch.
