Hi all,
We got back yesterday with a small Sleeping Beauty snow globe intact for DD who is 6...This morning DD unwrapped it from it's wrapping and dropped it on the floor :sad1:

She had said as i was packing it that she wouldn't hold me responsible if it broke on the way back and she was all brave as it lay in pieces at her feet and said that she would use it like a paperweight :sad2:

Does anyone know anyway that I can get her a replacement? They haven't got it on the online store or in the UK store.

Also have you looked at the Disney Store France website too? I'm not sure if they do UK shipping but hopefully they do.

How sad for your DD - if it were mine (same age) I'd be sooo upset for her and I'm sure she would be too .

Hope you get a replacement or something similar :goodvibes

Unfortunately they don't post anyway besides France. They also have even less choice than the UK :sad2:

OP - Maybe someone who is going soon could help you by bringing another back to the UK and sending it on. You might even live near another Diser who could help out.

:goodvibes

Thank you both for your suggestions, I'll look into that. She's being brave which makes it even sadder if that makes sense.

I would get you one, but we're not going until October. If it's not been sorted by then, I'm happy to buy it and post it to you x

Hello, how awful, I can just imagine if that happened to my little one! I would be happy to try to buy and post one if you like? We go on Wednesday. Please don't tell your daughter yet tho, in case I can't find one or smash it too! This is my first post, not sure if I can PM you or you can email me to get your address/send the money? Katy

Actually, I am going June if another offer falls through - I can try and get you one... Not sure why I didn't think of that sooner :confused3

Hope you get sorted out x

Hi Katyff . Elaine, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

Thanks to all that have offered to help it is wonderful to know that there are still some kind people around. You're all :littleangel:.

x

I'm going in April, I can look if you want, can you give any specific details of what it looks like and where you brought it from? I forget how common snowglobes are, though would they still be around in the spring season? :/ (how much does it cost also? XD)

EDIT: I see someone else is going earlier and I missed it, oops! But I'll leave my offer out there just in case anyway~

Hi

I can really feel for your daughter. I didn't reply before as I am not going until the end of March and though somebody would be going sooner than me who could help but if I am the first I will try and get one for you if you let me know the details. The only slight problem is that although I will be at DLP from the 29th March until the 1st April, I will not be in the UK again until the 13th April. Now I am happy to post from France but I always think French postage is much more expensive than UK (one of the French residents maybe able to confirm or deny this). The other alternative is for me to bring it back to the UK later and post it then.

If I can be of any help let me know.

It would be as it is an international parcel signed for and the first price is 15,34€ if you did your own parcel ..

That plus the extra risk of it getting broken when sent through the system here halted me from offering :goodvibes
