Are the pull-out sofas horribly uncomfortable at BWV? We are thinking about switching our ressies from 2bdrm at BCV to 2bdrm BWV. What's been your experience?:confused3

IMHO the new pull-outs at BWV are the most comfortable on property. Every room we have stayed in there during the past couple of years has had the new pull-outs. Maybe someone else will post if there are rooms that still do not have the new pullouts at BWV.
Here is a link that shows how they work. The mattress is very comfortable and no bar under your back!

We just got back from a stay at BWV and my DD age 14 said it was more comfortable than the regular bed...:)

That looks like the same type of sleeper sofa that BCV has now. I've never slept on it but it seems so much nicer than the old style.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but does anybody know if this is the type of sofa sleeper they have at OKW?

We just returned from 8 nights at BWV and DD age 24 found the sleeper very comfortable for the entire stay.

I am also hikjacking since there seems to be a sleeper sofa expert here! What about AKL sleeper sofas in the studios? HOw comfortable are they and do they have the bar that some have underneath?

They all sleep better, but they are terribly hard to sit on. Plus the fabric is very scratchy when you sit on the sofas with shorts.

By they way, to the OP, is your 2 bedroom at BCV dedicated? Or a lock off? All the two bedrooms at BWV are lockoffs. So if that is a concern, just wanted to make sure you knew.

It looks like OKW has the same models used at SSR. We stayed in a studio 2 years ago and were the first guests to stay in the room. We found this sleeper sofa to be horrible. It was like laying on a slab of foam nailed to a board. We ended up piling into the single queen bed instead. Perhaps they get better with use, but after my experience, I will never book a room planning to use the sleeper sofa in it again (at least ones with this model).

Yes, BCV was a dedicated. My concern over the sleeper sofas was because of the lockoff 2bdrms. at BWV. I decided to take the chance with the sleeper sofa and switched my ressies. Again, thanks for everyone's input. :yay:
