Sleeper Chairs

Hi Everyone,
We are making plans to visit the World in 2013, traveling with grandkids - boy 13 and girl 12. We always get a 1 bedroom villa. This won't work for us unless we have a sofabed AND sleeper chair in the living room. I thought ALL of the DVC resorts upgraded to sleeper chairs but I heard that is not the case. Anybody know which DVC resorts do have sleeper chairs in the 1 bedroom villas?

OKW, BLT and AKV-Kidani have the sleep chairs plus BLT/Kidani have the extra bathroom in the 1 bedroom!

We stayed in BLt last year....chair is comfy and extra bathroom is great!!!

AKV Jambo 1BRs (and 2BRs) except for the small number of "value" rooms also have the sleeper chairs.

Oh wonderful! We were thinking about staying at BLT and with an extra bathroom it will be ideal. Happy to hear OKW has the sofabed and sleeper chair too. Now I'm really hoping that SSR will upgrade with the sleeper chairs too!

I highly doubt that SSR, BCV, BWV, or VWL will ever get the sleeper chairs. Just not enough room in the living area to have them.

They were added to OKW when it was recently refurbished. They did not add them to BWV during its recent refurbishment and are not adding them during SSR's currently ongoing refurbishment and thus don't count on them showing up there. As CarolMN mentioned, it is doubtful the other resorts will get them because of lack of enough room the in living room. They have them at Jambo whose size is about the same as BCV, BWV, SSR, and VWL, but Jambo 1BR actually has a larger living room including because the kitchen area is a little smaller and is done differently in that it does not have the counter that comes across the room with the counter chairs. Jambo also has the lock-off doors in the kitchen area rather than at the end of the living room. I believe BCV has the same and thus there is some possibility they could eventually put one there if they shift some things around but in BWV, SSR, and VWL the doors in the living room for the lock-off units also dictate against the possibility of adding the chairs (those chairs are actually very heavy and you should not try to move them other than turning them a little and with the lock-off doors at the end of the living room you cannot get them close to the wall.
