Sleep... Need vs. Get

During the week, I usually get 6.5 hours. The weekends, I usually get between 8 & 9, which is probably what I need.

I usually get about 3 ,due to DH's snoring:rolleyes: 5 hours of sleep would be heaven to me!!

I need 8-9 and probably get 5-6. I am a very light sleeper and wake up many times a night. This goes back to when the kids were little many years ago. Also, DH snores like crazy!

I usually get about 5 hours of sleep each night - usually going to sleep at midnight and waking up at 5. It fels right, anything less I'm a zombie, but anything more than 7 hours of sleep I feel sort of tired all day too. So I guess my body needs between 5 and 7 hours of sleep each night.

I usually get about 3 to 4 hours a night. I'd like more. My inner clock seems to be a bit messed up. I do my best sleeping just before I have to get up. Unfortunately, I have to get up to get DD off to school. I'm looking forward to summer!!!

I used to feel best when I got 7 hours of sleep. Eight was too much. But I haven't slept 7 hours in more than 11 years! (Welcome to widowhood...no sleep!) I usually get between 3 and 5 hours tops a night. I would love 7!

Would love to get 7-8hrs but I usually only get 4-5. Doesn't matter how late I stay up, I always get up by 5. Gives me a chance to enjoy the peace and quiet in the house before anyone else is up.

I really do better when I get a full 8-9 hours of sleep. Unfortunately, usually I get 6-7 tops.

I have a chronic illness and have found I need 10 to feel truly rested...but I get about 8.
