My roommate has a message on his dry erase board that says "Do you want to go diamond with me?" What the heck does that mean?

I have five roommates.....This specific roommate is male. He's the only one besides me who is home. His message has so far changed from "Leave my messages here" to "Do you want something?" to "Do you want to go diamond with me?" I was figuring maybe one of the teenagers on this board would know what the heck that means.

I could be way off, but could it mean around the bases (as in home run--meaning going all the way.)

Blondie, so your guess is that it's some sort of proposition? I'm certainly hoping that you're wrong considering that he knows that I'm taken.

OK, I just reread your post. When I read it the first time, I thought he left the message for you.

Since it's on HIS message board and not yours, I think Blondie's right. Maybe it's a joke between him and his friends.

Disneyjunkie, that would make sense....it just worried me a little because he has been pretty flirtatious in the past and I was concerned that it meant exactly what Blondie said and that it was addressed to me since I'm the only one here other than him.

Honeywolf, I know that you're very honest and sincere. Take a deep breath and speak your mind; you won't be sorry :jester: :jester: ......

Wow, did I just get a compliment from Eros :) I left a message on his board asking him "What does "going diamond" mean? I've never heard that one before."

Well, according to the person that I just asked Blondie is right about the meaning of the phrase....he also thinks that since I'm the only other person here and since Ian has been flirtatious in the past and was the one who took me to the ER last night and stayed the entire time, there's a good chance that it may be a proposition. (So, I think I'm just going to tiptoe down the hall and erase my question about what it means.)
