slack week

Hey everyone,
just wondering if anyone knows when slack week(reading week) is in the states, and canada. We are thinking of taking a vacation and don't want to take it that week!

Reading week in Canada is different for every university. It even differs with universities in the same province. For pretty much the whole months of February and March are filled with reading weeks and spring breaks.

I've got two kids with different reading weeks. Last year we went down the last week of February and it was really quiet. Most of the US universities and schools have their spring breaks in March.

President's week (18-22) is much busier.

It falls on February 18th this year ... the same as Ontario's Family Day

Depending on the school board university or expectational institution the week off could be any where from early march to late April.
So any time in there is someones Spring break.

My reading week for college starts the week of Feb 25th. HTH. I am in Kitchener, Ontario.

Last day of class is Feb. 15 and don't start again until Feb. 25.
