Can anyone give me an update regarding the refurbishment at the SL Hotel? Have all rooms in all buildings been renovated by now? And does anyone of you have any pictures of the refurbished rooms? :)

I've read on another site this morning that the 1 & 2nd floors of the main building are now completed.

Not sure how they will play this with the room prices as currently the main building is cheaper but I suppose for the time being your chancing which room you get.

Must say they do look very nice from the pictures i've seen.

:goodvibes

Thanks for posting the pics :thumbsup2 Nice to see them updated - any chance you could put a quick review on the SL thread? ;) I think more people are considering this now that it's been refurbed.

I'm not overly familiar with SL but as I read it the Montana Rooms are in the Lodges? And you pay more for them :rolleyes1

However, the main building (2 floors so far) have been refurbed - which you currently pay less for.

Have all the Lodge rooms been refurbed then? Otherwise, I can't see the point of paying more to book a Lodge room that may not have been refurbed, when you can pay less and possibly (ha ha) get a refurbed room in the main building.

Am I understanding it all correctly?

What is the best way to get a refurbed room then - short of emailing them and asking?

Also, if we went for a Lodge room could this mean we might have a) quite a walk to the main building for breakfast etc b) more of a walk to the parks? What are the advantages of a Lodge room?

Sorry for so many questions!

I just come back from the SQL.

We had a room inside the main building and it was awesome. Very clean and brilliant Bambi theme.

I will post a lot of pictures from it in my trip report which will be online later this day.

I would recommend it !
