Skytower in Old Town

I just had to let everyone know that my DD(34) and DGD(8) rode the Skytower at Old Town together on our last trip! I watched in awe as they ascended up, up, up and then dropped! They both LOVED it and bought the video to prove to everyone that they actually did ride. As they were getting off, the next rider was a single guy probably in his late 20's. He was very nervous about it and hemming and hawing about whether to ride or not. He was completely blown away (and slightly intimidated) when my 8 year old granddaughter walked off saying, "don't be scared, it's a piece of cake"!

I did the one at Padre Island with my five year old cousin last spring and we both loved it! He was begging to go on it again!

I have watched that ride many times too. I think it would be cool but not sure if I could get my nerve up to go on it though!!
