Skyliner

My DD has never ridden the skyliner, we’ll be down at universal for a weekend get away and I was thinking we would Uber over for a ride on the skyliner and grab some dinner at one of the resorts. Where would be the best spot to be dropped off/picked up? Will they allow us to be dropped off at HS without park tickets? Will we be able to be dropped off at a resort without dining reservations? We’ll either grab a drink and appetizer or a quick service meal.

Your best bet would be HS. They do ask if you have a park reservation, but they don’t check it. So you could say yes, just to simplify the process. It’s more of an informational question (so they don’t have guests who think they can get into the park without one, to be turned away at the gate) than a screening one.

It’s hit or miss being dropped off at a resort without a dining or resort reservation. Lots of reports of being turned away.

If you have a car, you could drive to Disney Springs and take a bus to one of the Skyliner resorts.

I think you could be dropped off at Swan or Dolphin and walk to either HS or Epcot and catch it there. Unless they have changed, there is no guard or gate there. There is also a gas station across the street from BW Inn that people get dropped off at and walk to the studios or Epcot from there. The walk to either place from Swan/Dolphin, BWI isn't bad.

Thanks for your responses. My DH and I were at Disney a month ago, we took an Uber from the Covid test site to HS, they asked if we had a reservation, we said yes, they never asked to see our reservation, so I wasn't sure if they were asking to see them now. Looks like HS is where we'll start our flight
