Skyliner to Magic Kingdom?

If I have an AP and an MK reservation for the day and can in theory go to EPCOT now without a reservation, can I take the skyliner from Pop Century to EPCOT then on the the Monorail to MK?

Maybe, if your trip through Epcot is after 2pm. The "no reservation needed" for APs only applies after 2pm.

Also, I'm not sure if having a reservation puts you back under the normal rules where you'd have to visit your reserved park before visiting a different park.

If it's a hot, muggy day you might not enjoy the walk from the International Gateway up to the front of Epcot to pick up the monorail.

Because you have an AP and if you're planning to make the journey after 2:00, you can do it if you don't mind that nearly 1 mile walk through EP to get to the monorail from the Skyliner. Personally, I'd take a bus from Pop directly to MK. If you want to include the Skyliner in the journey, I'd take Skyliner to DHS and take a bus to MK from there (if it's after about 1:00 or whenever the park-to-park buses start running). Or you could take a bus from DHS to one of the MK resorts and take the monorail from there to MK. Or, you can just do the monorail loop when you get to MK by bus if riding the monorail is important to you. When we were there last June, we took the monorail from MK to EP and then walked straight through to the Skyliner and then took that back to AoA. It's a long trek, but we wanted to ride Skyliner one last time before we left. If we just wanted to get back to AoA from MK, I would have taken the bus...it would have been much easier and faster.
