Is it possible to ride the Skyliner if not visiting the parks or staying on property? If so, what do you suggest?

In the past, we have been able to park at a mono rail resort, and then walk around the resorts and ride the monorail just to see the properties. Would like to try the same with the Skyliner.

First, anyone can ride the Skyliner. No resort stay is necessary.

But . . . you cannot park at a resort unless you're either staying there or have an ADR at a restaurant at the resort. They will ask for proof at the gate. There's no getting around that.

In which case, the thing to do is to drive to Disney Springs, park in the lot there, take a bus to one of the Skyliner resorts and ride the Skyliner.

You'll likely need to have a dining reservation to get in to park at any of the Disney resorts now. I doubt you'd be allowed to park at the monorail resorts anymore. I also doubt you can do it at the Skyliner resorts, but reports do differ. One way would be to pay to park at HS, then you'd have easy access to Skyliner for as long as you need. Second option, if it's not early morning, might be to park at Disney Springs and bus to one of the resorts.

park at springs (orange garage preferably)
Bus to Pop, AOA, Y&B club or boardwalk for easiest access
