We aren't staying on the Skyliner line but really want to try it out. Anybody have a recommendation for a good ride to take? I was thinking maybe we'd take the Epcot to Hollywood Studios line at the end of our Epcot day and then take the bus back to OKW from HS. Open to other suggestions for a better route though...

First, there is a line change if going from EPCOT to HS. Caribbean Beach is the hub for all the lines, so you would ride EPCOT, through Riviera (or get off), get off at Caribbean Beach and get on the HS line.

As previously mentioned, you can get off at Riviera and check out the resort and artwork. There are some pretty cool mosaics in the breezeway from the skyliner path. Then you can get back on at Riviera and continue on as described above.

We enjoyed touring the Art of Animation resort when we were riding the Skyliner for fun. They have a really good gift shop. The whole resort is fun to walk around. :) I recommend taking all the routes. :)

I like the ride over Hourglass Lake on the way to Art of Animation/Pop Century. One night we took it from HS to Caribbean Beach exchange and then over to Art of Animation and took a bus from there over to Disney Springs.

How late in the evening are the Skyliner and bus to/from DHS running? Is it possible to leave Epcot at park closing, Skyliner to CBR, then DHS, and take a bus back to OKW at that time?

I like this idea!! We plan to go to Disney Springs a couple of evenings anyway so we can do that after HS and then boat back to OKW. Thanks for the suggestion!

I hadn’t thought to check the schedules yet so thanks for that reminder. I’m so used to everything being open late that this new early park closing business is throwing me off.

One evening the line for the EPCOT skyliner was back to where Beach Club starts (at closing time). This was during the holiday time, so may not be the same at all times, but need to take that into account.

Just a quick note... If you want to do the skyliner as a "ride", after dark you can't really see anything. I'd try to go prior to dusk.

My daughter was there last week and that was the case. She figured since she was already at BC she would just Uber back to Pop.

Are there any restrictions on riding to the resorts if you aren't staying?

Has the DHS line been staying open until after Epcot closes, or does it close after DHS? I'm thinking about parking at DHS and hopping to EP, would like to take Skyliner back to car, but can walk if I have to.

In general, transportation runs about one hour after a given park closes. Hopefully someone who's there now or has recently returned will see this and post to confirm or refute my generalization.

HI! I was wondering how to do this as well. I will have a car, AP pass holder, would love to park at Pop and take all the sky routes, but I can’t seem to find if that if ok? I haven’t been since sept 2019, so I know it’s a whole new world!!!! Appreciate any help!

If arriving by Disney transportation there are no restrictions. Arriving by private car may work or you may be turned away.

It really seems to be dependent on the guard. Some will let you in, some will turn you away. Sometimes you can get in with a mobile order for the counter service restaurant or food court, sometimes you still get turned away.

Disney is pretty much encouraging people to park at DHS if they want to ride the Skyliner. With an AP, parking is free, so that's the easiest and definitely OK. We've done that several times when staying off site - park at DHS (whether visiting the park or not), ride the Skyliner loops as much as we want.

PS the route crossing Hourglass Lake between CBR and Pop/AoA is beautiful in the daylight, especially around sunset!

Awesome thank you for the tips!!!

We were recently at DHS and noticed that the Skyliner was set to close an hour and a half after park close. I don't know if this is the *rule*, or just how it was based on park closing that day. I would not rely on Skyliner to get back from Epcot to DHS if Epcot is open long after DHS closes. Sometimes DHS closes at 7pm and Epcot could be open till 9pm. In that case, if I was park hopping to Epcot, I would drive my car there.
