It looks like some areas on the skyliner are higher up than others.
Where is the skyliner the highest up in the air?

I am wanting to go from EP to Riviera and am hoping that’s not the highest part of the ride…

Thanks!

I believe it’s highest point is 60 feet. I’m thinking that’s from Hollywood Studios to the CBR, but it could also be from the direction switch to Riviera as well. Since these are enclosed vehicles, you really don’t notice the height.

I think the highest stretch is from CBR to Riviera. When we are looking around, the other lines appear lower. The next highest is probably Riviera to Epcot, due to the clearance needed along that route. The routes from CBR to Pop or DHS feel about the same height and are fairly low. I think they are shorter in length and probably don’t have the need to ramp up and back down.

I guess if we just don’t look out maybe we won’t notice 😂.

I’m afraid of heights and never noticed the height of the skyliner. It never bothered me a bit. No idea why honestly I just look out at the sights but not down I guess

I’m terrified of heights - the Skyliner scares the bejeebers outta me…especially after the time we stopped for a lifetime (actually probably just a couple of minutes but it felt like a lifetime to me) directly over a high spire at CB…

It’s high enough the busses don’t hit it but that’s about it.
actually a pretty nice ride

The highest tower on the system is 83 feet. That tower is between CBR and RIV.
Im terrified of heights myself and at one time I flew on the skyliner twice a day, four days a week. Never bothered me and our house has fourteen feet ceilings, i get the ladder and my wife climbs the ladder to change the light bulbs on the ceiling.
Im usually pretty good as long as my feet aren’t dangling. I went on soaring once, I was on the bottom row and I’ll never do that again. Lol

Last time somebody posted this the thread devolved into people worried about alligators following the gondolas! 😆
Just to catch it early in the game, not something that needs to be worried about.
I remember that one. Lol. Sometimes you just can’t win. Lol.
