Skyliner / Friendship Boat Question

I haven't been back to the World since before the Skyliner opened so I only vaguely know where it goes. My niece (2.5) is obsessed with any kind of transportation. We will be at the Swan/Dolphin for a non-park day. Would it be feasible to friendship boat to HS then skyliner to EPCOT and the friendship boat/walk back to Swan/Dolpin? It seems like you could do all of that and not have to enter a park, but I'm not 100% on that. Any advice would be appreciated.

Most definitely you could do that! No park tickets or reservations required. You can do exactly as you envision - catch the boat from S/D to DHS, walk across the entrance plaza to the Skyliner. You'll ride that to CBR, where you'll transfer to the Epcot line. That drops you off just outside the IG, more or less across from the Friendship boat dock, so you have the choice of catching the boat back to S/D or walking around Crescent Lake to get back. If you want, you could take the Epcot Skyliner from CBR to Riviera, get off and visit that resort (it's beautiful and there are places to get a snack or a QS meal), then get back on the Skyliner to finish the ride to Epcot. If you're interested in visiting Riviera, this thread https://www.disboards.com/threads/the-official-riviera-owners-info-thread.3755767/ has information about the eating places, etc.
