If I have dining reservation at 8:00 at the Garden Grill, but the park doesn’t open until 9:00, how will we get there using the skyliner from the Caribbean Beach resort? (Doesn’t the skyliner let off at the International Gateway?)

Yes, the Skyliner station is at the IG, and service starts running at about 6:30 AM. The CMs allow guests with early dining reservations into the park early. The far right touch point line at the IG is for early dining guests. Everyone is held at Canada, till park opening, except for those diners, who pass into the park at the far right side. There are CMs to guide and direct.

According to the signs and the Times Guide, Skyliner has been opening at 7:30 most days. With no delays, it's about a 12 minute trip between CBR & IG, but it can take longer. So boarding right at 7:30 might get you to the Land around 8.

I think there are buses running to the front of Epcot before Skyliner opens, but I don't know how frequently.

I just saw the sign showing a 6:30 AM starting time for Skyliner operation. When the Skyliner is down, due to “maintenance,” buses are available; I was advised that the bus location was at the BWI.

It is a 16 minute travel time between CBR & EP, according to the Skyliner CM, not taking into account any Skyliner issues. It is 5 minutes between CBR and DHS.

The schedule can change, so it is obviously always best to check, while on-site.

If it were me I would make the reservation a little later if using the skyliner.

I'm afraid you are mistaken. I was there this afternoon, and all of the signs show a 7:30 opening. I confirmed it with a Skyliner cm.

The Times Guide says it was scheduled to open at 6:30 am this past Sunday, for one day only. Perhaps you saw the sign on Sunday.

I recorded the trip from Epcot to CBR with a GPS tracker app on an earlier visit, and it was 12 minutes, with a couple of slowdowns but no stops. It's possible cm's are being told to add a few minutes to allow for brief delays.

Yes, I saw it over the weekend. EP was wall-to-wall people for the Festival of the Arts. It was not the opening of the festival, so I don’t know why it was super packed - maybe Disney was anticipating the large crowds?

I wanted to ride, but it was down, so I couldn’t. The CM at the closed gate to the entrance quoted the travel time to me.

Thanks for the clarification.
