We have a booking here for Sun 10 December as we booked too late for F! seating (and we are ok with that!). I know we are not guaranteed fireworks, but wanted to get out of the crowds. Wondered what people thought of the lounge and what the view of the fireworks was like if you were lucky enough to catch thempixiedust:

I did this several months back and am doing it again on 12/10. I thought it was a great way to get out of the crowds. You can definitely see the fireworks but you don’t see all the animation or lighting in front of the castle. Both Mickey and Minnie visit. Plenty to snack on, lots of drinks.

It is very windy and cool up there. They do offer blankets, but even with a blanket, it is windy and cool. I would expect the restroom situation has improved. In June, it was a big ordeal to go to the restroom (needed a CM to escort and it was a walk down the stairs).

Good to know! I am considering the Skyline Lounge for when I go in February, and I am wimpy about cold so if we do it I will bundle up.
