Skylanders Characters?

Anyone know of where to get Skylander characters at a reasonable price? It seems the stores I have searched are sold out and ebay prices are ridiculous. My son got a couple of doubles (Bash and Chop Chop) and are looking for many he does not have. I was going to return the doubles but may wait and trade for others he does not have if they are so difficult to find. Has anyone heard of where to get them or when they will be restocked?

Chances are, you're not going to find them online anytime soon. Also, be aware that some shown on the poster are NOT out yet and will not be out for a while (Warnado, Cynder, Camo, Zook, Ignitor, Sunburn and maybe a few others are not out).

We found most of them by going store to store for a few days. My son had Christmas money and was desperate to find a few. They were much easier to find before Christmas--fortunately he got many from his aunties and uncles. But we did find some here and there at Target and Walmart, and our Toys R Us had a bunch. Maybe just call daily to see if they got any in?

Try amazon. We picked up a lot of them ther before christmas. Their stock changes, so you have to watch them.

DD wanted this game but i wasn't keen on having to buy all of the characters. but i have seen them at gamestop and even at my local shoprite. I think some stores that don't normally carry such things may have some due to the holidays. SO maybe check out ebst buy, bn, etc.

i'm sure i will regret not getting this game for her one day.

Amazon has been sold out of them since Christmas, and people with amazon stores are selling them for ridiculous amounts (like Hex for $50).

It took me a while to figure out they weren't all out...that's why I mentioned it. My 8 year-old wanted some of them so badly and after searching and searching with no results, I realized maybe they weren't all released and I googled it. Supposedly there's a new 3 pack coming out in January and more in April. What a pain!

We got the starter set for Christmas. Ventured out in search of a few more figs between Christmas and New Yeas. At our local Best Buy we found only Voodood, they had three left. At the Walmart just down the street, they also had about four Voodood and about three Drobots. Everyone wanted about seven bucks, as I recall. Target had multiple pegs. All empty.

I found a couple three packs of Skylanders figures for about $16.48 this weekend. I thought that was a good price for 3.

That is a pretty good price. Where did you find them? Everywhere I go, I see empty racks.

We have checked every day for the past 7 days and nada. My son has 11 of them because we bought them before Christmas to go with the game. We haven't been able to find anything since then. Walmart, Target, and Best Buy all recognize us now when we walk in and just start shaking their heads "no".......................... The guy at Walmart told me that when they do get them in, they have been sold out within an hour! How in the world do these people know when to be there.......... Good luck.

My guess is as soon as they come in, people are buying them ALL to resell on ebay or CL.

When I went to Toys R Us and had a bunch of them, there was another mom there with her son picking through them. They had 3 packs that had Hex in them. The mom was like, "I'm so glad we found these here, we've been looking everywhere." As I grabbed a pack with Hex in it I said, "Yeah I've been looking for Hex and she is going for about $50 on Amazon." No sooner did I say that, she started grabbing every 3 pack with Hex that she could get her hands on. I was kicking myself for telling her--that means some kid now can't get a hold of those, and some desperate parent is going to pay $50 for it. UGH!!! I walked away in disgust.

We have all the ones out except for Whirlwind cause it is NEVER in stock in any of our target stores. You can find most online EXCEPT for the air ones.

We were able to get Wrecking Ball and Sonic boom (magic and Air) from FAO online. I would suggest giving that a try.

Also there are websites where you can sign up and it will tell you when an item is available in stock for around the price you want. This is what I did. I got them both at FAO for a little more than what I would pay at Walmart. Though shipping was quite a bit. It came out to $25 for both of them so much less than what they are going for on EBay. And people are bidding them up over 80 a piece insane

We got a few at Target just the other day. They didn't have many but they did have them. I've been looking since Christmas and haven't been able to find any. Of course my dd wants Whirlwind but I told her not to get her hopes up for that one. I'm just hoping to find a few before Valentines Day and Easter. They make the perfect little gift.

Just was able to pick up 2 more at Game Stop. The manager told me that January 15th is when another round of Skylanders will be released.

The skylanders facebook site is saying the same thing. There will be a new character 3pack, plus a new production line of the ones that are already out. I am hoping to get the new ones plus a whirlwind.

Thanks for the link. DS has a birthday in April so that is great. DS8 has 15 total Skylanders but two are Wrecking Ball. We had a single and he found a triple pack with Stelth Elf and Sonic Boom and really wanted Stelth Elf so he got it. I got it at Target, they only had three packs. This was after Chirstmas.

If you have two of the same they are reconized as two not one, which was cool. He has Prisim Break, Eruptor, Spyro, GilGrunt, Hex, Dinorang, Drobot, Zap, Flame Slynger, Stump Spash, Trigger Happy, Bash. We have it for the Wii.

Zap, Hex and Dinorang were in a pack together, which he also got at Target after Christmas.

He used his own money to buy them. We checked TRU, Walmart, Best Buy, Meijer, Target and Game Stop. Yes ones in different towns on differnet days. TRU were overpriced compared to all of the other stores three packs were $5 higher and single packs $2 higher.

I would try to get there when the stores open for the best luck. They are in the video game section. Good Luck on your search.
