We were up and at the bus stop by 7am because I thought maybe MK would open early for Easter week. MK didn't open the attractions until 9am but being one of the first in line, my DGD, Skye was asked to open the park! They did a little ceremony, announced her name and where she was from, gave her a magic lollipop, a certificate & rode us up Main St. on a fire truck. Oh, and we got to throw pixie dust. Skye's got curly blond hair and she went around w/pixie dust in her hair all day! Got some in her fanny pack too!

We were on the first Dumbo ride w/Mickey & Minnie, got FP for Peter Pan, rode the Pooh ride, saw Arial, rode Peter Pan, then went to late breakfast at the Crystal Palace. After breakfast we picked up a FP for the Jungle Cruise, rode POC, saw the Tiki Bird show, then rode JC. Got FP to Splash Mtn., rode BTM, went to Tom Sawyer Island then rode Splash Mtn. Skye loved Splash the best. Nana ducked and closed her eyes! Whew!

Pleased with what we accomplished, at 2pm we went back to ASMu and swam/rested until 5pm.

After character dinner at Liberty Tree (yum), we went to the Haunted Mansion. Skye hid her eyes several times. Afterwards when I asked if she'd like to ride it again sometime she said no, "it weirded me out." I loved it. Hadn't seen it in years.

We wanted to get her portrait done so we could give it to her mother for Mother's Day but they were all booked up. We headed on to Tommorowland for a few rides & got FP for the Buzz ride, but it was going to be late and Skye decided she would rather go to Toontown so we gave the FP's away. Strangely enough, Skye wasn't interested in seeing the parade & fireworks. Go Figure. We rode the barnstomer & saw toontown then hopped on the train and made our escape before the fireworks. No problems leaving at all.

At ASMu we took a late swim then went to bed. A truly magical day. Awsome! :D
