Skyauction & ??????????

If Skyauction doesn't have much of anything in our dates is there another reliable place to find inexpensive lodging? Priceline has many hotels in the 3 star range that I like but there are soooo many 3 stars in the neighborhood, I'm afraid to try it in this area!

kept checking skyauction - they changed on a daily basis.

RCI also has other websites for government workers, military - would you quality for these sites?

what are you dates and where are you going? WDW, US/IOA or SW for the main part of your trip.

but this is silly pretty expensive - you get better prices 60 days or less out - but alot of the good stuff will be gone.

I know you said you are afraid to try priceline in the WDW are, but I have stayed at just about all of the 3 stars that come up and they are ALL fine. That said I wouldn't bid higher than about $40-42 for a 3-star, but if you can get one at that rate, you'll be pleased.

I was originally worried about the Best Western Lake Buena Vista when they added it as a 3 star, but after getting "stuck" with it once, I think it's actually my favorite. Nice rooms, well maintained, great area- perfect!

Thanks Jim! I may try it. I've used priceline all over the USA and been mostly pleased. I'm just a little scared because there are so many 3's (my price range).

Oh, Photobearsam, our dates are Christmas. I don't see much on skyauction for that time. Sounds like you got in early enough to get a great deal. It's just DH & I because both our kids had to cancel...

I had picked up 2 five day bonus passes to US/IOA for DH & DS then I got 13 QC vouchers for DD, myself and the guys in the evening. NOW I'm messed up. If DH & I only go to US/IOA what to do with the QC's. If we only go to DW, what to do with the bonus passes??? Maybe both??? I don't think so.
