Skyauction Stress

I won a skyauction ready, set, go auction, and am waiting very (im)patiently for dates to be available for end Feb. So far there is nothing showing at all for Feb and I am getting a little stressed that there won't be anything for our dates. It seems that availability starts popping up about 120 days before check-in so I am starting to worry. Our dates are not firm, as I haven't booked airfare or anything yet, but I will have to do that soon to get the best rates, or resign myself to going end of March instead. Anybody have experience booking thru skyauction for that time frame? Should I book airfare, and something thru hotelkingdom just to be on the safe side?

I would book something else and get your airfare. It's easier to get a hotel deal then an airfare deal. You'll have plenty of time to get a great timeshare on Skyauction if the Ready Set Go deal doesn't come through for you. They have timeshares pop up all the time.

I think it depends on when you're going in February. If it's Presidents week, a break for almost the entire NorthEast, Skyauction inventory may be slim to none. Skyauction sells unsold inventory. But then again you may get lucky. I'd get the airfare for the dates I wanted and cross my fingers for the condo to come through. Most check ins are Sat. or Sun. If you have to miss a day or stay the night at a low cost hotel, it will still be worth it if you save $$$ on the airfare.
