Am hoping to win a ready set go skyauction auction for a one bedroom unit for Dec 16/06 check-in in the Orlando area.

1. Right now availability is showing vacation villas parkway and villas fortuna.

Can anyone recommend either of these places?

2. Am hoping to be close to Sea World since that is where we will primarily be visiting that week (not disney).
can anyone recommend a skyauction resort close to Sea World?

3. Hoping for a great pool (preferably with a slide) for the kids. Can anyone recommend an RCI resort that may be available on skyauction that would offer this for kids. I like summer bay since it has a nice pool with several water features for children.

4. Hoping to win a ready set go auction but would also like to view other rci skyauction properties individually. can someone direct me to a list of rci skyauction resort names in the orlando area so I can look them up on skyauction individually.

5. What would be a fair price to win a read set go auction (prior to the $195 fee)? Is there a better day or week/ time of day to win a lower priced auction?

Any assistance with any of these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Suzy

Vacation Villas Parkway is a good one.

It is close to WDW.

so take either International Drive South - to ID - or I4 to get to SW.

the one RCI timeshare next door to Discovery Cove and across the street from SW - is Hilton Grand Vacation CLub HGVC - but it has not been send in quite a while on skyauction.

with skyauction it is timing. I would watch one that few people have bid on - then in the last minute bid and use autobid for +$25. make sure it does go to skyauction until that very last minute.

be careful about vacation village at the parkway, unless you are seeing a 2 bedroom on the ready set go ....check availability, you might be getting the smaller side one bedroom if it has a partial kitchen...

you rarely see the full two bedroom .....they have gotten wise and split them up so they can get more rental bang for their product

On ready set go for our dates it is showing a one bedroom with a full kitchen as well as a one bedroom with a partial kitchen.
I wouldn't bid unless I could get the one bedroom with the full kitchen. It looks like it has a nice balcony as well as an in room jacuzzi as well.

can anyone confirm that the one bedroom with a full kitchen/ in room jacuzzi is indeed the A side? That would be great for us since we are just 2 adults and two little kids.

Thank you
Suzy

full kitchen is the one with the jacuzzi...

the pull out in the living rooms of some of the A sides leave a lot to be desired.....if possible ....you might want to ask for a unit that has been refurbished to assure your are getting a good "couch/sleeper"

we were there in november, and when you sat on the couch it just gave way.....evidently this is a common complaint ....otherwise we enjoyed it there....the big scene tv was a real plus for watching movies.....although not sure they all have them.....each phase there seems to have different options...

good luck...
