Skyauction info needed

Thinking of doing a Seaworld trip next year and am interested in staying at a timeshare resort; most interested in Sheraton Vistana but will consider others. I have never done Skyauction before. To me, it looks like bidding on a voucher and than trying to redeem it.
I have specific travel dates for April 2010 and am not flexible at all. Afraid to bid on a voucher and than unable to get the week I need.
Where else to book 7 night timeshare stay that's reasonable?

I use the Skyauction vouchers all the time and would recommend that you not even consider them. They work best when traveling off season, and April will be very hard to get. RCI changed their system last year and now getting good units without paying an "upgrade fee" is harder than ever. I have never been able to get Sheraton Vistana using the vouchers.

I use Ebay for the next cheapest resource for condo stays. Both Skyauction and Ebay work best when booking less than 3 months out, so If you want to make reservations way ahead of time, the resources Spiceycat recommended would be good options.

Some Ebay vendors may be able to design a custom auction for you for the exact dates and timeshare you want. Do a search on Ebay for Sheraton Vistana and get some history on winning bid amounts.

Lack of flexibility means you will likely pay a higher price, but you'll still get more for your money in a timeshare than at a hotel.
