If I can only be gone 6 nights can I pay the full price of the week but check in a day late??? or out a day early??? Also could you give me a quick lesson in the rules. If they say these places had this availability at beginning of auction and I have one in mind and win does that mean it REALLY is promised to be available. My dates are not flexible. Thanks so much.

If it is a Ready Set Go auction, you can put the week on Hold...

When you win the auction, they will email you more info.

They are good to work with. You can drop a day from your visit, just let the Resort know after you win the week that you are doing so. They should not have a problem with it.

one caveat....

since the "exchange" remains listed as something else until about a week before you arrive, would not contact the resort too early or they will have no "record" of your reservation....( at least in your NAME )

it is not difficult to drop a day ...we had to do that last year because of our airline tickets left on thursday even though we could have checked out on the friday

you realize that you have paid for the entire week right?

no refund for the day that you aren't there.

but no the timeshare won't have a problem with you checkin a day early or leaving sooner.

We just checked out 1 day early last week, no problems.

Also, I had won an auction for Vistana, at the beginning of the auction the week I needed was available, after winning it was not available so I didn't have to pay a penny, I guess the next highest bidder was selected.

Just a note, we spent last week at The Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Sea World (I won off skyauction) and it was beautiful! We had a wonderful time and there weren't any problems of any sort.
