Skyauction condo certificate for use in June ?

I am considering buying a condo certificate from Skyauction for $249 and want to use it in early June 2011 (either first week or second week) for a 2-bedroom unit.
Right now there is no availability at all for June in their system so I am not sure whether I should take the risk buying the certificate now.

I know June is the start of high season in Florida but was thinking that the first 2 weeks should be fine as Florida schools seem to start school holiday around mid June next year.

Has anyone ever been able to book anything for early June in Orlando area ?
How are the chances that availability be added early next year ?

I have never found any thing in June or July through skyauction especially on the type of auction you are bidding on.

If you want it for June, don't buy it. It is highly unlikely that you will find something in that time frame. I know a couple of years back, I purchased several of them.. after seeing that there was availability for my dates. After purchasing them, them Skyauction changed some of their policy's and I was not finding my dates for the size unit I needed anymore. After dealing with them for a while, they did give me a refund on one of them, but the last one I had they would not. They called me when they got something for my dates.. it was a 1 bedroom, when I had needed a 2 bedroom. I had to take that or loose the use of my certificate.. since then, I do not buy from them. If you see the date you need.. and it is there more than once, then buy it.. if not... do not buy with hopes it will be there.

Thanks so much for the advice. I was hesitant to buy the certificate so won't do it and will look for some other accomodation.

If you are particular about dates *and* about unit sizes, these are usually a bad idea.

Any time kids are out of school will be hard to book as these are basically "hard to fill" weeks and leftover weeks.

You can check the website listed on SkyAuction though and see if any June dates come up. Maybe if there is one and you book it now you will be ok. I have never tried to come in the summer.
